Tropic Air’s most recent factory-new Grand Caravan EX aircraft, V3-HJE (Hotel Juliet Echo), is the fifth and final aircraft in its order of five delivered for the 2025-2026 Fleet Expansion Initiative, bringing the airline’s all-Caravan fleet to 15 aircraft, the youngest in Belize, and across the region, and reinforcing a strategic investment in modern, reliable and resilient operations that enhance safety, performance, and the passenger experience.

Tropic Air is proud to announce the arrival of three factory-new Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft into our fleet, a milestone that reflects both our growth and our commitment to Belize’s aviation future. These aircraft are part of a larger fleet renewal of five brand-new planes within a twelve-month period, that began last year with one, and a final aircraft scheduled before the end of this year.

We are grateful to share that our friend and Team Member, Jair (Franchesco) Castañeda, has been released from medical care today following injuries he sustained during yesterday’s events.
We are so thankful to the skilled medical team who cared for him, and to the entire community for your outpouring of support and prayers.

This state-of-the-art aircraft registered as V3-HJA will increase Tropic’s all-Caravan fleet to 15.
