When entering Belize, all pets must be accompanied by a valid veterinary certificate issued by a veterinarian from the country of origin. An import permit from the Belize Agricultural Health Authority (BAHA) may also be required.

For the safety and comfort of your pet(s), we are not able to accommodate them on most international flights. However, we are able to carry small cats or dogs on our flights to and from Cancun. These pets must fit in an approved travel carrier and be able to fit under the seat in front of you. You must also be in possession of Mexican animal departure documents, which are obtained at the Cancun airport. Kindly allow extra time for processing of these documents.
On domestic flights within Belize, we do carry pets. All animals must be in a kennel or a travel carrier to be supplied by the owner (including service dogs). Only guide dogs will be allowed on the aircraft without a kennel. Depending on the size of the kennel we will determine whether the pet will require a seat. If a seat is necessary, the kennel must be strapped into the seat at all times. Medium or large kennels may have to pay for one, two or possible three seats depending on the size of the kennel. Passengers also have the option to charter an aircraft to transport their pets.
