TROPIC AIR DONATES TO MANATEE CONSERVATION

At Tropic Air, we endeavor to be good environmental stewards in the locations where we live and work. Through volunteerism, in-kind donations, recycling efforts and financial giving, we support activities that promote conservation and preservation of our natural resources.
As part of this effort, Tropic Air is proud to donate $500 to the Sea-to-Shore Alliance for its work in Manatee protection. A check was presented to the organization’s representative, Jamal Galves, on February 14th by our staff at Belize City Municipal Airport. This donation will be used to install conservation signage on the Belize River, which is prime Manatee habitat, and a frequent area for aerial Manatee spotting by our passengers.
“These gentle giants need protecting, and we want to do our part to help in that effort”, said John Greif III, Tropic Air’s president. “Our staff knows that Tropic Air will always promote the conservation of our environment, through sustainability efforts and our commitment to our people and our planet”
