TROPIC AIR ACCEPTS DELIVERY OF A BEECHCRAFT 1900D AIRCRAFT

The 1900D is a modern, twin engine, 19 passenger, regional airliner. It arrived at the the Philip Goldson International Airport in Belize City at 4:15pm after a ferry flight from the USA. The airliner is to enter revenue service shortly on Tropic Air’s main international routes from Belize City to Cancun, Roatan and Flores.

“The 1900D is a world class airliner. It is fast, pressurized, spacious, and has a stand-up cabin with glass cockpit,” said John Greif III, President of Tropic Air. “This is a significant investment for Tropic Air, and we are excited to be the first in Belize and in Central America to fly it in passenger service.”

“This investment underscores our commitment to Belize, and the future of tourism”, said Steve Schulte, CEO. “Adding a new aircraft with the capabilities of this type gives us the opportunity to expand our network with service between Belize and our neighboring countries, increasing tourism arrivals, and building regional business opportunities for Belizeans.”

The 1900D is a turboprop airliner that is designed primarily for regional routes. It is popular for its speed and passenger comfort. The aircraft can fly from Belize City to Cancun in as little as 50 minutes and has a crew of two.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]About Tropic Air
